Local Media Recognizes Western Wisconsin's Premier Big Band

That's news anchor Dave Solie describing the La Crosse Jazz Orchestra in a segment that aired on WXOW-TV on Monday, May 27. His report includes an interview with bandleader Greg Balfany and clips from one of the band's spring "reading sessions" at the Root Note in downtown La Crosse. LJO used those sessions to get ready for its 45th annual concert season, which begins in June.
